Coree and I both needed hair help desperately! Coree's eyes had disappeared, and my roots and aging color gave me a brown and orange striped effect. Initially, I just assumed I'd go to the Exchange beauty salon, but after hearing feedback from a couple of ladies, I knew that I needed to find someplace else. They both said that the sylists refused to do what they wanted...One of them went through an entire book and every style she pointed at, they stylist shook her head. I'm just not used to that. I need a 'can do' attitude in a stylist. Luckily, Molly knew just the place...
Rumiko is a darling salon down by the seawall. I went in the morning for my cut and color and love the results.
Coree looks great, too. She convinced me to let her keep the bangs as she is trying to work them into her layers...as long as she keeps them out of her eyes.
Rumiko is such an interesting lady. She's from Japan, but has mostly lived in Hong Kong, and more recently here in Okinawa. She speaks very good English, so we had an easy time visiting.
I forgot to take the after shot, sorry...but trust me, it looks great!
