Troy had to do a report in his psychology class about his development. I felt like a bad mom that I could not remember off the top of my head at what age he rolled over and held his head unsupported. Of course, I didn't bring the baby books over here, either, so I couldn't look it up.
I did have fun, however, looking through my files of pictures to supply him with visual aids. I thought I'd share some with you here for Flashback Friday. Wildman was Troy's nickname as a toddler. I can't remember who gave it to him, but I know it was one of the Marines from Cliff's unit in Joliet. Wild, he was! Troy never wanted to slow down, especially not for photographs. I had a some mommy-dearest moments trying to get him to cooperate. "Sit! Stay still! Smile!"

This is actually the last in a sequence of 3 shots where he pulls the blanket to bring the worm to him, rather than exerting himself to reach for the worm. He still does stuff like that!

Look at the hair and eyes! Now imagine him in motion. Behold...Wildman!

I still remember him coming out of his room like this. Hilarious!

That poor cat seems unaware of the danger. Troy was obsessed with the Lion King for awhile. He took this stuffed lion everywhere! It was a puppet with a roaring button in his mouth. We had a deal that he could take it with, as long as he didn't make it roar at places like church!

Hmmm...let's see...how can I torture my parents today?

Always in motion!

Just had to throw this one in here so Patrick wasn't the only one!

Troy has really mellowed out over the years, and is such a wonderful young man...but I think he still has that same baby face, just on top of his 6 foot 2 body!
