We are the Stuarts (formerly of Imperial) now residing in Okinawa, Japan.

This blog started from a desire to bridge the miles as we were preparing to leave the USA for 3+ years. It has turned into much more. It's part travel diary, part personal reflection, part "sociology of military life" and part mommy-blog. We hope you read something here that is interesting to you (or at least not a total waste of your time).

Lost in Translation...Sweets and Treats

T
his is a drink called "Sweat". Yum...pass me one! Click to enlarge so you can read the small print. Maybe not so much "Engrish", but I love the wording. I know I ALWAYS need to replenish my electrolytes after a bath, lol!

Cakes are evidently life altering over here. They reunite loved ones and give life new meaning...

I know I always become pleasant if it involves chocolate!

And I always enjoy the taste of a fresh smell!

Can you please pass me a rich grown tasty?

Not only is it Engrish, but it takes itself WAY too seriously. This is candy, people...not a cure for cancer!

Well, since you are confident...AND you said please!

Give peace a chance!
