I think we have discovered a new family tradition. It just sort of crept up on us, but I'm keeping it. For the past several weeks, every Saturday night we have purchased Onigiri from Apple Co-op or Family Mart to have when we get home from church on Sunday. It rocks...and we know that when we come home starving at noon, there will be something to instantly get rid of the hunger pangs.
We usually get tuna and/or salmon. This time, there was one of these left. I'm guessing it is in honor of the Olympic games. Just a guess. I didn't know what was inside...and was trying really hard to think of what Canada might be known for that would go nicely in a rice ball.
Any guesses?
Here's a hint ^.
There's no prize, but see if you can figure it out. I had made Troy take it, since he'll eat anything...but then after tasting it, I was wishing I had saved it for myself. Sometimes it pays to live dangerously.

maple sugar?
Good guess...but no. I could not for the life of me think of what it could be...but as soon as I tasted it, I thought..."duh!" It's not anything bizarre, either. I had another one for lunch today. It was yummy.
