We are the Stuarts (formerly of Imperial) now residing in Okinawa, Japan.

This blog started from a desire to bridge the miles as we were preparing to leave the USA for 3+ years. It has turned into much more. It's part travel diary, part personal reflection, part "sociology of military life" and part mommy-blog. We hope you read something here that is interesting to you (or at least not a total waste of your time).

Easter Lameness 2010

Remember our usual, epic Easter traditions that we featured here last year? Well, this year, since I was sick in bed, we did none of it. Not one lentil, not one lamb shank. Cliff made the kids spaghetti.

I did get out of bed long enough to photograph the kids finding their baskets, which Cliff hid.

Under the desk

Master bath shower

Brownie looking for her goodies...

Which Dad hid for here here...

And she found them!

Brownie win!

The under the laundry in the hamper trick worked AGAIN this year...that's probably as much mileage as we'll get out of it.

Now put all of that back in there!

And Jake finally found his in Brownie's kennel.

(This is the part when I went back to bed...)
