Hey there! This post is actually just for Mary. You are all welcome to look and drool if you like...but this is just to show Mary, who is throwing a baby shower for a Japanese friend, what the watermelon baby buggy looks like. Not that Mary probably wants me to do the watermelon baby buggy...since watermelons over here cost a small fortune...but we were talking baby shower games and the like and this came up and she was just curious.
I guess since Amy (who this shower was in honor of) and Theresa (who was hosting this shower) also read this blog...this post can be for them, too. Wasn't this a fun time? Baby showers rock! And I love making this buggy!
That's all...you can all go back to your regularly scheduled lives.

Thank you for the visual...I definitely want to try it and I think I will take you up on the offer for a tutorial...the only thing I'm worried about it is the shape...lots of the watermelons I've seen here are more round than long like that one...but let's give it a try!

This is really fun and beautiful looking. Water melons are practically free here when they are in season. I think we will have a go making one next summer!

That is wonderful...I want to come there! For more reasons than just watermelon, actually...I've always wanted to experience Australia. I think I will try to sketch some instructions and scan them in here for anyone that wants to give it a whirl.

The linkwithin feature is super easy to add and your blog would be perfect for it...just do a search online for it or you can even just click on it from my site. Register and voila! The only thing is that we don't choose the related stories, so they are somewhat random. It also takes about an hour for it to show up!

Thanks for the watermelon offer...you guys go for it! The baby shower isn't until the end of Aug, so you cannot let it just sit there for that long...
Oh no! I thought it was in a week or so. Oh well, I guess we'll be enjoying some watermelon. Hopefully they will get some more closer to your shower. Now you know to check Kadena, anyway.
