Can you imagine waking up to this view every morning?
Well, this Summer...whenever I want it, it's mine. I am apartment-sitting for a friend who goes back to the States for the summer. Suddenly, I'm discontent with my hovel...I mean, cement bunker of superior craftsmanship, surrounded by lovely gardens.
So, this is the view to the left...
And to the right. Can you spot that landmark up ahead?
Here it is! A great view of American Village.
This is the view straight ahead...
And straight down.
Aren't these things cool? They are enormous...I mean, taller than people. I hear they are fun to climb on...but I'm too chicken. You never know what's living in there!
Now as I'm stewing in my view-envy, I have to remind myself how great our neighborhood is for the kids!

That has been mine and Ed's little summer home for the past few years! I miss it sooo much! Take out dinner on the balcony and a movie, reading on her swing in the lazy afternoons of the summer, sorry, the swing isn't there anymore, last fall was the end of its life expectancy....when Gail mentioned that she was loosing her super summer house sitters since we were moving to the States i told her to check with you! I'm sooo glad she did!!! Next summer you and Cliff can use it for your get aways! Enjoy your little island cottage o the sea! I totally stalked up her kitche w all of mine and ed's faves! ice cream, chips and dip, veggies, fruits, soda....the fridge and counters looked liked a totally cool stocked hotel fridge! But, commisarry prices! Hee Hee!! Have fun!!! Oh, the jacks are VERY cool to climb on! Go for it, you'll love it! But, yes, you will see crabs, but they run from you not the other way around! LOL Miss you!!!
If I had that view I would think I died and lived in heaven! Serious..
