Okay, here's my LAST post of our Conference Trip. It's a good thing, too, because I have other things to blog about stacking up behind it!

Shellie, Baylee and Jimmy
Wednesday morning after checking out of the hotel, we stopped one last time to see Jimmy, Shellie and Baylee. It was SO hard to say goodbye. Again, there is just something comforting about knowing that you can jump in the car and be there. Thomas and Alden were already at school, so we didn't get to say goodbye to those two :-(.
Baylee had just finished her daily chemo and radiation. She is so amazing! Shellie said that before her chemo started, a nurse asked her, "Would you rather be any place else than here today?" Baylee thought about it and said thoughtfully, "No...I get to read my magazines..." She is staying so positive. I just want to squeeze on her all the time.
We tried to stay just as positive, but eventually, we had to say our goodbyes, and the tears started to flow. We made promises as to how we were going to stay connected and be of support. It just hurts to know we'll be gone for so long.
On our way back to St. George (to say more goodbyes) we stopped at Cove Fort. We've stopped here many times, and the Sr. missionaries always give us a nice tour. I recommend stopping if you are passing through.

The kids were tiny the last time they were offered one of these pioneer toys. They all had a great time making it spin.

After dinner, Neal, Janet, Molly and Tom came up to visit with us. We laughed and had a great time. It was great to get to know Tom (he and Molly just got married a few months ago). He has a great sense of humor and fits right in.

How many people can we fit in this chair?

Tom and Molly

Grandma Cramer and Aunt Janet

Uncle Neal giving some Online gaming advice to Troy and Patrick
The next day, my mom was off of work, so we took her to lunch at Outback. This is one of our favorite things to do while we are in St. George (take Grandma someplace nice to eat)...but eventually, it was time to say our goodbyes here, too. I thought I was all cried out...but no...there was still more.

We posed for some more photos for posterity. Grandma and Grandpa Cramer are so special to us...they are so loving and kind. They are going to live forever, too, because none of us can imagine life without them!

Me and my mom
So here we are, back on the road again...headed toward home...and LOTS of laundry..and for Cliff, repacking to leave for his trip to KC the next day!

Dad as the pilot

The crew (serving themselves snacks and showing the inflight movies)

The navigator/historian/co-pilot

The End...
(This time...I swear it!)

I have totally loved reading all your posts down to the last relative I've met through your blog. Thanks for being who you are and posting and recording and being the historian and caring and sensitive person. I love your style of writing and often find myself laughing. I'm glad I get to be a small part of your life. And again, I'm glad that it's a worldwide internet (hoping you can use it while in Japan) so that blogs can continue to keep us in contact regardless of the time away. Love you Carrie!
