We are the Stuarts (formerly of Imperial) now residing in Okinawa, Japan.

This blog started from a desire to bridge the miles as we were preparing to leave the USA for 3+ years. It has turned into much more. It's part travel diary, part personal reflection, part "sociology of military life" and part mommy-blog. We hope you read something here that is interesting to you (or at least not a total waste of your time).

Beach Olympic Voyeurism

We hung out, watching the sunset, until it was time for the activity to be over. They had a beach olympics segment, followed by dinner and a dance (for the kids 14 and older...the 12 and 13 year olds had to settle for a Disney movie on the beach). :^(

We decided to head over to their side of the beach and see what we could see.

(YMCA!)

After all...what fun are kids if you can't embarrass them with some stealthy photographs?

Patrick might consider himself quite the ladies' man...but who's just walking around during the last slow song (front and center) and who's dancing with a lovely Asian girl? (Troy--left)

Josh is trying to calculate the number of girls he danced with, but he's running into trouble with his "calculators".

Troy's pretty cute, huh?

These two aren't bad, either. Maybe I'll have to rethink who's my favorite?

I love that Troy is mega-tall around all those little Asian girls. How fun. We really miss your kids around here.

...And YOU of course.

I was thinking about having a lunch with the ex-stake-YW group but then I though, OH NO! Carrie's going to have to schedule a HUUUUGE long flight to get here because we SIMPLY can't lunch without her!

I don't know what's wrong with my feed, but I never get your blogs. It was fun catching up today. It's amazing what this tour has done for your older 2 boys--they've become athletes and MEN! Wow! I think if they were to make an appearance at the Tierrasanta building there'd be a lot of girls swooning. Handsome, nice, strong, brilliant--what's not to like? You must be so proud.
