We are the Stuarts (formerly of Imperial) now residing in Okinawa, Japan.

This blog started from a desire to bridge the miles as we were preparing to leave the USA for 3+ years. It has turned into much more. It's part travel diary, part personal reflection, part "sociology of military life" and part mommy-blog. We hope you read something here that is interesting to you (or at least not a total waste of your time).

Flashback Friday...A whole gaggle!

Today's entry is bound by only one theme...random piles of people that comprise our family.

These are just pics I came across in my searching that tickled my fancy today. I love this face...and that all the boys are piled in the background.

This pic of my four favorite men just melted my heart and broke it at the same time. I remember these days when the kids would come running into our room in the morning. It would be a tight squeeze these days!

A gaggle of kids. I love Jake crawling over Troy to get to the remote.

OK...this one is the funniest! Look at each of our faces and how none of them match. I especially love Cliff's expression. Such good times...like herding cats!
