It just so happened that our home school consultation (in San Diego) was scheduled for the same day as the Father/Son camp out at church. Since the boys wouldn't be able to join us, what were the girls to do? Go get their hair done, blow a wad on matching shoes...and to finish it off? Cheesecake Factory!
This blog started from a desire to bridge the miles as we were preparing to leave the USA for 3+ years. It has turned into much more. It's part travel diary, part personal reflection, part "sociology of military life" and part mommy-blog. We hope you read something here that is interesting to you (or at least not a total waste of your time).

Girls Day Out--The Sequel
It just so happened that our home school consultation (in San Diego) was scheduled for the same day as the Father/Son camp out at church. Since the boys wouldn't be able to join us, what were the girls to do? Go get their hair done, blow a wad on matching shoes...and to finish it off? Cheesecake Factory!
